The birth of an Arizona dust storm

"The time frame on this scene is from 3:35pm to 5:00pm. So it took about 90 minutes for it to get to me.
It's shot with an ultra-wide 14mm lens, hence the clouds are kind of flat looking...but considering how tricky it is sometimes to gauge just where a dust storm will end up aiming for, I had to get as much of a sky as possible.
Amazingly, it came right at me.
Hope you enjoy!"

The Arizona Monsoon in Timelapse

"these are simple timelapses that show you the nature of the Arizona monsoon. Walls of dust...beautiful clouds, amazing sunsets, rain, gorgeous landscapes...all of that stuff. It's what I love about this state. It's what drives me to chase over 7,000 miles every summer."
